Changing your screen resolution in Windows 2000, NT and XP
First click on the START button in the bottom left of your screen.
From the menu, click on "Settings" then on Control Panel .
Double-click on DISPLAY in the new window.
Click on the SETTING tab in the new window.
Slide the Screen area button to adjust your desired setting (e.g. 1280 × 1024) pixels .
Click on OK and answer the computer's questions by OK or Yes .
When the changes are completed, you can close the Control Panel window.
For multi-monitor systems you may be required to change the resolution on each monitor. Click on each monitor image icon separately (see below) and change the resolution to the desired setting.
